Our client / Landlord contacted us in a huge stress that he is the new landlord and he has recently bought this property. He lived approx 400 miles away from the tenancy property. Immediately, after putting the tenant in, the tenant failed to pay the agreed deposit. Tenant also failed to pay the first rent upon entering into the property. Upon huge struggle, tenant paid the first month rent after the delay of couple of weeks. On the due date of second rent, the tenant confirmed that he is on holidays and he cannot pay. By this time, landlord realised that the relation may not last for long. Landlord contacted us for eviction. We served Section 8 notice on discretionary ground of 10 and 11.
