Introduction

This costs information is provided pursuant to the SRA Transparency Rules and the Price and Service Transparency guidance provided by the Law Society. The Rules require us to provide costs information in relation to the preparation and submission of immigration applications. We do not provide advice or assistance on asylum and Refugee matters.

Fixed Fee

The costs information we have provided is a guide and is not a binding quote for working on your matter. Once you instruct us, we will provide you with our exact fee, upfront, which will be tailored to your matter. Once the fee is quoted, we will not charge you anything extra irrespective of any extra time consumed.

Third Party Fee – Not Legally Binding on Us

Please also note that the information provided does not amount to legal advice. We have to provide you with information about likely third party costs, such as Home Office fee, barristers’ fees, interpreter’s fee etc. As changes are made by the third parties we are not responsible for any errors in this information, which we are providing to you based on our experience and as a guide only.

All our charges include VAT which if applicable is charged at 6%. This will be added to our invoice to you.

Fixed Fees

For the following matters, we are able to give you our fixed fee. But importantly, this DOES NOT include:-

  • Any application fee charged by Home Office, Immigration Health Surcharge or / and appointment fee for registering biometric with Home Office at its service points.
  • If your Initial Application is refused by Home Office, any advice / assistance in relation to further process like filing appeal or filing new application.
  • Costs involving any third party i.e. medical experts/ reports, interpreters, returning envelop fee etc.

What are the timescales? How long will my application take to initiate or / and decide?

AT the outset, please note that we cannot guarantee that how long the Home Office will take to process your application as the Home Office has got their own times scales which can vary for many number of reasons. Some applications can be processed as per given guidelines i.e. within few days, however, some application can take several months and this varies all the time. It is also to note that you can refer to Home office / UKBA / UKVI website for further guidance about the time scales. As far as our office is concerned, we always intend to work on your file straight way or we will give you possible time which depends on our work load. If your application requires an urgent attention / processing, then, we will advice you that if we can take your instructions or not. Even during the process of your application, surely, we will be happy to provide any update as and when you require. Furthermore, if the application is taking longer than expected or more than published times by the Home Office, we will be happy to send a letter to the Home office without any further cost to you. Summarily, please note that all the application are likely to vary, hence, we will try our best to give you more accurate estimate of the time scale, once, we have got your file / case and all the required information.

For your reference purposes, the stages will involve the following:
1. Instructions by you along with required documents.
2. We will review all the documents.
3. Noting relevant information.
4. Preparation of the file.
5. Your review of the file.
6. Submission of the file to Home Office / UKBA / UKVI
7. Wait for the result / (or if needed in case of delay), chase the Home Office / UKBA / UKVI for an update.
8. Upon getting the result, inform you immediately.
9. Any comments from you and finally close the file. Keep your information safe for 6 years before we finally destroy / delete the information.
