Massive Rent Arrears of over 16.5 K. The tenant was very evasive. We took the matter to the court on section 8 notice. The tenant represented by the Duty Solicitors and pleaded that there are no rent arrears and she is upto date with her payments. The court adjourned the matter and ordered to the tenant to provide her defence and counter-claim within 14 days. The tenant failed to file any defence. We wrote to the court and requested for an early hearing. Upon the court hearing, the tenant appeared again in the court and requested for further adjournment.
